Peter Oswald's rich adaptaion takes place in a historical period fraught with religious and political tensions embodied by Mary, Queen of Scots, and her cousin Queen Elizabeth I of England, who sentenced her to death. This Michigan Premiere features authentic Elizabethan costumes.
